    Sitticus atricapillus (Simon, 1882)      [urn:lsid:amnh.org:spidersp:038335]
    Description male

    Prosoma brown, shining, with dark pubescens, on each side with a longitudinal streak of white hairs, running from ALE to posterior and a white median streak. Clypeus brown. Sternum greyish brown. Legs brown to yellowish brown, with slightly dareker markings. Opisthosoma: dorsum blackish brown, anterior part with white lancelate spot, a pair of large white spots and posterior part with small white chevron-like markings, sides and venter light greyish brown.

    Body length male: 4.1-4.3 mm

    Description female

    Prosoma dark brown, covered with lighter hairs. Clypeus light brown, densely covered with long white hairs. Legs light brown with slightly darker annulations. Opisthosoma: dorsum greyish, with 2 pairs of dark spots, posterior part with small white chevron-like markings.

    Body length female: 4.9-5.15 mm
